Doug Henning on Broadway in the show credited with the current long term revival of interest in stage magic. The Magic Show ran for four and a half years on Broadway and earned Henning a Tony nomination. Music and lyrics for The Magic Show were composed by Stephen Schwartz. It was based on a book by Bob Randall.
