Small format lithographic poster for Parisian art exhibition, a pull-out leaf from a printers publication. The smiling face of a woman invites the public to a General Expo in Paris. Although photography was invented in the first half of the nineteenth century, it arrived late in French advertising. Cassandre's use here is one of the first!
