An original lithographic page from a 1940's Babar book that reads,
"Cooks are scrambling to prepare cakes and sweets of all kinds. Queen Celeste, Zephir and Arthur come to help them. Zephir tastes vanilla cream to see if it is correct; he puts his finger in it, then his hand, then his arm. Arthur dies to plunge his trunk into it."
