A beautiful bare breasted woman holds up two different styles of taqiyah caps, a fez and chechias in this small format point of purchase ad targeted towards the French colonial North African population c.1930. The artist, Jules Douy attended the French Academy in Rome. He worked specially for the advertising industry, creating illustrations, brochures, posters and stamps... He won the "Grand Prix de Gravure" (1906), was several times awarded by the "L'Institut De Gravure De Paris" and received the Medal of the "Légion d’honneur" and "du Mérite postal" ". Printed on card.
